Cameron Anderson, Kevin Cheetham, and Melissa Clauss, eighth graders at Valley Middle School in Oakland, recently captured the New Jersey State Future City Championship at the 16th Annual National Engineers Week Future City Competition held at Rutgers University. The Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Service will be held on Monday, January 21, at 7:30 at St. Albans Church. The service will be interdenominational and artwork and projects from all of the Oakland Public Schools will be on display in the front lobby of St. Albans.
