Daily Words of WisdomJune 5, 2020
Good Morning, Manito! It’s an exceptional Friday, June 5, 2020!
Someone wise once said, “Don't rely on someone else for your happiness and self worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can't love and respect yourself - no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are - completely; the good and the bad - and make changes as YOU see fit - not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”
Today we’re talking about self-respect. Self-respect is not about what we do, but who we are. It is about feeling valued. It is about being able to stand tall and feel proud of and for ourselves.
Today, think about who you really are. If you’ve shown great character all year, be proud of yourself, stand tall, and show everyone that you have lots of self-respect. If you could have made better decisions this year, you can show your self-respect by making a commitment to learn from your mistakes and by realizing that it’s never too late to start demonstrating outstanding character.
With something to think about, this is Mr. Silverstein. Make it a great day—or not. The choice is yours!
