Cultural Arts is a 10-week comprehensive study of both music and visual art for all sixth graders. The class meets twice a week. The course provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore and listen to various styles of music from the early centuries to 20th century.
Through this course, students will not only listen to the music, but will also gain an understanding of the music history and how music has evolved.
At the end of the 10 weeks, students will complete a cultural arts final project. (choose either art or music final project)
