Use of Facilities/Grounds
Permission to use the Oakland K-8 Schools may be granted for community purposes when, in the opinion of the Board of Education, it will not interfere with the educational functioning of the school program or in any way be detrimental to the township as a whole. The sole authority for granting the permission rests with the Board of Education Administration
The procedure for securing the use of school buildings is as follows:
- Click the links to the left to print a blank Use of Facilities Application packet. Please note the application is 5 pages and includes a Facilities Agreement, Application page, and School Security and Emergency Procedures Statement of Assurance.
- Submit the completed application, to main office of the requested building along with appropriate insurance documents.
A decision on the application will be made and the applicant will be notified as promptly as possible. Any matter of special fees, conditions, or instructions not covered by the application form will be passed on to the applying organization at the time of notification.
