At Heights Elementary School, children eligible to receive speech and language services are typically seen in groups or individually once or twice per week for thirty minute sessions.  

 

Children eligible to receive speech and language services may have goals that include improving articulation, expressive and/or receptive language skills, auditory processing skills, fluency, pragmatics (social use of language), etc.   

 

Children seen for articulation should practice their target speech sounds for 10-15 minutes each night with a parent/guardian in order to train their muscles of speech production how to correctly make a sound.
