    Dear Parents and Students:

          I would like to introduce myself as one of the three Learning Consultants (LDT-C) currently employed in the Oakland Public Schools. My name is Juliet Letz, and I am eager and enthusiastic to work on behalf of you and your child as the liaison to the Child Study Team and Special Services staff as well as the administrators, teachers and support staff at Manito Elementary Schools and throughout our district.  Let me tell you a little about myself...

          Prior to joining the Child Study Team, I taught Resource Center at Heights Elementary School for 7 years.  I have experience in teaching students in all primary grade levels from Kindergarten to 5th.  I am trained in Orton Gillingham and hold an Elementary with Subject Matter Specialization of English Language Arts/Literacy, Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant, Teacher of the Handicapped, and Elementary Education certification.  I completed my Masters of Education in Learning Disabilities from Montclair State University and am currently completing my Supervisor and Administrative certifications with NJExcel.
