My extra help is Thursday mornings at 8:30am.

All of the above specials begin at 2:27 and end at 3:07.
* Health is on Tuesdays at 1:07 for Marking Periods 1 and 2
Our Nightly Homework Routines/Procedures
*Word Work:
Word Work word lists will be given to your child every Monday. Please practice these words with your child each night. Follow the directions listed on the Word Work folder. The Word Work folders do not need to be returned to school, as each week follows the same routine, with the same activity choices outlined in the folder. All assessments will be given on Fridays.
*Reading:
Please read for 20 minutes each night. Be sure to choose a variety of reading material.*Take home Journal: Your child will discuss and paste a new prompt into the take home journal each Monday. First grade authors will write to the prompt and make a picture to go with their writing. Journals are due back to school each Friday.
*Math:
Most math homework will be paperless. It will be assigned on ThinkCentral. New assignments will be posted on Mondays and the work should be complete by Friday. Please guide your students when needed, especially when reading and following directions.On Fridays, your child may have a take-home game or online game choices to play for additional math practice and fun!
*Reminders:- Please encourage your child to review their classwork as they do their homework each night. This is an excellent way to reinforce the concepts we learn each day.
